Hello! Welcome to My Nature Nook.
I’m Leila – A nature awareness coach, herbalist, medical doctor and homeschooling mother with a passion for growing and sharing my botanical knowledge and nurturing my connections to the natural world.
I created My Nature Nook as a fun, enjoyable, family-friendly resource to help mums (and dads) who want to grow their knowledge about the natural world and feel confident to share and pass that knowledge to their children.
Specifically, I created this resource for those parents who want to learn about their local plants, trees and wildlife and teach nature study in a way that can be applied and practiced in the landscape around them – in the towns and countryside of Ireland and the British Isles.
All the resources on this site are created by me in snippets around my children. So, more resources will be added as I get around to doing them. I hope you enjoy using My Nature Nook as much as I have enjoyed creating it and find it valuable for your nature study and daily nature connection.
