It is divided into easy to read sections featuring the life of trees, how to identify tree leaves, and how to identify trees. It then dives into a wonderful, illustrated, child-friendly introduction to each of about 33 commonly found North American trees.

An vibrant 192 page book packed full of colourful, child-friendly illustrations, wierd and wonderful facts, a variety of habitats and exciting tree-themed snippets. While it is more of a references book than a field guide, featuring trees and plants from all over the world, it is a valuable and enticing book to encourage children’s nature study.

Arranged both by tree family and leaf arrangement, this book includes quick at-a-glance identifiers for recognising each tree, as well as fun facts and information. At the back of the book there is also an at-a-glance photographic tree ID guide.
